Salt air and persistent humidity affect hardware finishes, mirror backing and ventilation. We favor finishes that hold up and specify exhaust sized to the actual room volume.

Casing profiles, door hardware and floor transitions are matched to the rest of the house so a new bathroom does not read as an insert.

Getting more from a small footprint

Original Los Altos baths are often modest. Swapping a tub for a glass shower, moving the door swing or using a wall-hung vanity usually gains more than an addition.
